CAST BASALT LININGS
We supply and install a wide range of Basalt Tiles and Cylinders. Cast Basalt is formed by recrystallising naturally occurring basalt rock and forms a finely crystallized glass ceramic of extreme hardness. TUNG-GRIT
Tung-Grit products containing rounded carbide particles offer superior wear protection, under conditions of low to moderate impact, through a combination of the inherit hardness of the tungsten carbide, and the ‘dead box’ effect. The effect arises when particles of the abrasive material in contact with the Tung-Grit are trapped between the carbide particles, This build up causes ‘material on material’ bulk flow, the base material thus being protected from abrasive damage.
TUNGWELD
Tungweld is a dynamic wear protection system with excellent results on high wear and impact areas. Tungweld is a wear system directly applied onto the wear component. This eliminates the problem of wear pads or separately welded onto chips fed in via a vibrator are mixed with special mig wire at the fusion point. The end product is an extremely hard coating with a dense concentration of tungsten carbide throughout the wear section.
TUNG-GENIA
Tung-Genia deposits an extremely durable protective coating comprising a dense mass of ultra hard tungsten carbide embedded in a tough nickel chromium alloy matrix. This structure offers extremely effective protectionagainst corrosion and abrasive attack by a variety of material. The matrix composition helps to absorb impact resistance to abrasion, while the spherical profile of the carbides makes it very difficult to dislocate them from the matrix.
CHROMIUM CARBIDE PLATE
Composite plate consisting of a steel sheet overlaid with a wear resistant weld deposit, highly alloyed with chromium and carbon giving primary and secondary carbides. The welding deposit is formulated in such a way as to create a hypereutectic structure.
